Try a couple click of compression. It’s nicer for flowy jump trail to have slightly stiffer suspension!

I’ve been mountain biking since 2019 and BMX for years before that, I started with elbow pads when mountain biking, and once I dropped them it was just better, they tend to get in the way and you usually don’t scrape up your elbows that bad, keep the knee pads for sure though. It’s all up to you but they just restrict your movement, especially on tech
